Why a wallet?
Why a wallet? Because we don't want your password. No wallet? Give us your email and we'll send you a code.
Why a wallet? Because we never want your password — the Service has none. A wallet also means we never learn your email address. If you don't have a wallet, give us an email address and we'll send you a one-time code; a wallet is then created for you in the background by our authentication provider, which holds that email address. Both routes give you exactly the same rights.
What if I lose access to my mailbox?
If you sign in by email, access to your account depends on access to that mailbox. Lose it, and you lose the account along with your Kindness Score and submitted materials. We can't recover it for you.
What if I lose access to my mailbox? If you sign in by email, your account is reachable only through that address — we send a one-time code to it and we hold no password to fall back on. Losing the mailbox means losing the account, including its Kindness Score and submissions. Before that happens you can export the wallet's private key from the Account panel and keep it yourself. If you connected your own wallet instead, no email is involved and access depends solely on your private keys.
Why Kindness Score?
Why Kindness Score? It's a record of your activity on the platform. It doesn't entitle you to anything.
Why Kindness Score? It is a permanent record of your activity on the platform. It does not entitle you to anything. Points are earned solely from received hearts on your shared acts of kindness and daily active presence.
What qualifies for publication?
A single, concrete act by one person toward another person or an animal, visible on camera. No fundraising or calls for donations. No promotional or sponsored material. Nothing where the help is a pretext for a joke at the expense of the person being helped.
Every submission is checked by an automated AI model against this criterion before it appears in the public feed.
What does the rate limit message mean?
The daily heart limit (100 hearts/day) or submission limit (10 submissions/day) has been reached. The limit resets automatically at 00:00 UTC.
Rate limits are enforced at the PostgreSQL database level based on UTC calendar days to protect community feeds against automated scripts and spam.
How does the Streak Shield work?
The shield protects your daily activity streak from resetting after a single day's absence. Once used, it recharges after 7 full calendar days.
What happens when a video disappears from YouTube?
A dead link doesn't cost you points. The material gets an 'unavailable' status and disappears from the public feed, but stays visible on your profile, and your points aren't deducted.
